How to safely inflate the Sup Aztron

Aztron iSUPs are unique as they are made with a double chamber. The 2 separate chambers ensure 30% greater stiffness but also the ability to sail safely even if the outer chamber loses air for any reason. Thus Aztrons are by far the most stable and rigid iSUPs and stand out for their excellent floatation compared to that of a fixed board. But how do we inflate them safely?

Follow the simple instructions below to safely inflate or deflate your Aztron Sup.
Inflation: First inflate the INNER chamber without “hardening” (to 2-3 psi) and META the OUTER (to 2-3 psi).
Then repeat in the same sequence, completing the air fill to a maximum of 10-12 psi MAX.
Aztron Sup’s due to their double chamber construction are already “stone” and able to sail perfectly from 9-10 psi and this is the pressure we recommend filling them to . In any case NEVER INFLATE your AZTRON isup above 12 psi for reasons related to the hot Greek summer that expands the air and increases the internal pressure of the iSUP and the possible tolerances that the pressure gauge may have.

Deflation: It is done in the opposite order.
First we slightly push down (without locking) the valve of the OUTER chamber to let it lose the first air and then the same with the INNER chamber. We finish by locking the valve down, always in the same order to let the rest of the air out. Be careful that the initial pressure to let the first air out is light, especially when the SUP is inflated after being exposed to the sun.
If the minimal remaining air prevents you from easily folding and storing your iSup, you can use the pump in the DEFLATE position to get the last traces of air out. Your Sup is ready to go in the carry bag!
After use in the water, we strictly avoid leaving the sup in a horizontal position (especially when it is inflated) for a long time on hot surfaces (hot sand, pebbles, car sheets). These surfaces can create very high pressure conditions (due to expansion) inside the boat causing the sup to ‘explode’. In such a case it cannot be covered by a guarantee.
Caution : Manual pumps usually give an indication of air from 4-5 psi onwards, as their pressure gauge does not calculate a smaller amount of air. It is always useful to check the hardness of the Sup by hand as well to rule out any over-inflation from a momentary “sticking” of the pressure gauge.
To make our lives easier, Aztron developed the Y-SHAPE pump adapter, a forked part that adapts to the pump to safely and quickly pay the 2 chambers at the same time!
A good option is to buy the Aztron E – pump. Aztron’s electric pump quickly inflates SUPs effortlessly and safely as it automatically stops once we inflate our board to our pre-set PSI. It is easily connected to the car’s 12V cigarette lighter.
Aztron has developed a range of efficient hand pumps to satisfy all users.
If you already have an electric pump in your car, you can get Aztron’s special adapter to inflate your Sup. We recommend extra care and manual control of the Sup during inflation with your electric pump.
